Hello, I'm Swati.
Swati Bhatia is a specialist maternity, newborn, cake-smash and kids photographer in Delhi NCR, working from two studios — New Delhi (Old Rajinder Nagar) and Gurugram (DLF City IV) — to make portraits that feel real rather than staged.
The story
A quarter-century behind the lens.
What began around the year 2000 — photographing friends and family — slowly became a craft. Over the years it grew into a custom, artistic photography practice across New Delhi, and then a second studio in Gurugram, built around the people I love photographing most: expectant mothers, brand-new babies and growing little ones.
I'm not a do-everything studio, and that's deliberate. Specialising in maternity, newborn, cake-smash and kids work means I know exactly how to keep a newborn settled, how to pose a bump so it feels elegant rather than awkward, and how to coax a real giggle out of a shy three-year-old. The narrowness is the point — it's what lets the photographs feel effortless.
Every session is unhurried and personal. I want you to feel heard about what you'd like your photos to look like, comfortable enough to forget the camera, and certain — when the images arrive — that they look like you, on your best day.

The best frames come once you've forgotten the camera is there. Much of a session is simply putting you — or your child — at ease until the natural moments arrive.
Heard, then photographed
We ask what you want your photos to feel like before we shoot. The session adapts to you, not to a fixed template — so the result looks like your family, not a stock set.
Swati has an eye for catching natural moments. She makes sure you feel heard about what you'd like your photos to look like. Great taste and an adaptive personality — I strongly endorse her as your choice of photographer.
